Topic: LEADERSHIP, FOLLOWERSHIP AND WORKING AS A TEAM PRESENTATION AT THE 2012 KWARA STATE CONFERENCE OF NIM
Delivered By: AHMED ‘TUNDE POPOOLA, MNIM, FCA
MANAGING DIRECTOR/CEO, CRC CREDIT BUREAU &
FOUNDER, TOMEB FOUNDATION
Date: Thursday, August 30, 2012
This presentation will discuss three interrelated aspects of our live – leadership, followership and team performance.
Most times of our life, we are:
providing leadership to the family, at work, community, in a project, committee or an association;
Participating as a member of a family, staff, committee, association or a community;
Involved in a team working on a project in a department, ad hoc or in a substantive manner, etc.
We should not see leaders as just heads of government or institutions, CEOs, etc. – regarding leadership as reference to “them, a special class of people”.
There are leaders at such titular levels as there are at low levels and in small things or projects.
Since we change roles, this presentation will discuss what is expected of us as we function as leaders, followers and in teams.
